According to The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy: Sam Soto is the king of voice-overs ; his daughter, Carol, is a struggling vocal coach who has always been overshadowed by her father. However, she sees a sudden escalation in prominence in the field. Sam kicks Carol out of the house so that he can live with his 30ish new girlfriend. Egos flare during the competition to do voice overs for the epic Amazon Games franchise. Sam bows out so that his heir apparent, Gustav Warner, can assume the role, but Carol attempts to fight the longstanding tradition of using male voice-over talent. Gustav's main concern with Carol is her potential as a conquest. Once Sam hears Carol is a contender for the job, he makes a late bid for it himself, setting up a three-way competition of Olympic proportions.
